Andrew holds a diverse background in education and consulting. Andrew taught in a variety of setting for most of his career, from ESL in inner city California to instructing in Anthropology in the university of St. Petersburg, Russia. Andrew received initial coach training from in 2007. He received training in Coaching Fundamentals and as a Licensed Trainer with Coaching Out of the Box in 2013. He has worked with several teams addressing complex interpersonal and systemic issues.
Who am I as a facilitator/trainer?
You know the saying, to become a master at something, teach it! Over the years, I’ve taught/facilitated conflict resolution, communication and career transition skills, managing change, even vegetarian cooking. And now, coaching! As a facilitator, I bring focus, respect, playfulness, encouragement and a solid expertise in coaching and adult learning principles. I completed Coaching Out of the Box training in June, 2012.
Melissa works with Saskatoon Health Region in the Organizational Learning & Effectiveness with over 7 years of a diverse background in health care Human Resources, including Employment, Recruitment, Occupational Health & Safety, and Return to Work, & Disability Management. Melissa’s background includes a B. Sc. Kinesiology and she is currently a LEADS Specialist through the Canadian College for Health Leaders. She is a Licensed Trainer with Coaching Out of the Box.
I have a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University. I have been coaching and mentoring as part of my functions as Associate Vice-President at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and through my volunteer work with organizations such as the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services of Ottawa. I am a member of the International Coach Federation and I am working toward my accreditation. I am an avid reader and is particularly interested in the scientific foundation of coaching.
