In addition to being seasoned trainers, all Licensed Trainers of the 5/5/5 Coaching Skills Training Program™ must be graduates of a Coach Training program that has been accredited by the International Coach Federation.
Marilyn Orr is a Senior Executive Coach with Vision Coaching Inc. and currently the President of the International Coach Federation Atlantic Chapter. She has been coaching since 2005, a natural extension to her background as a therapist with a love for both wellness and business. Marilyn loves life and is passionate about coaching others to their best life. Marilyn has trained hundreds of leaders from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to effectively coach others.
Marilyn’s formal education includes a Bachelor in Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto in 1988, a Masters of Arts in Counselling in 2003 from Providence Seminary in Manitoba, Canada and, finally, a graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, in 2006.
With Vision Coaching Inc. Marilyn coaches leaders throughout North America in various types of organizations. She loves facilitating learning through seminars, team coaching and keynote addresses at events.
Training leaders to coach is a special joy. Watching the power of people so new to coaching lead others to “ah ha!” moments and strategy breakthroughs inspires her every time.
Marilyn is in the process of finalizing a book on everyday resiliency tools with her publisher. The book brings strengths and knowledge from her therapist background but uses a coach approach, drawing the wisdom from the reader.
Currently Marilyn lives with her husband Bill and youngest son in Atlantic Canada. In the summer you can find Marilyn on the back of her and Bill's Harley - just look for her enjoying life in her pink leather chaps and jacket!
