Maryanne Larocque B.A., CHRP, CEC
Principal, NewRoads Consulting
When working with groups, I have a knack for establishing a unified approach to learning. My workshops foster an open and transparent environment. Participants gain insight and acquire more self- confidence in meeting personal and professional challenges. As a facilitator, I am committed to helping people discover new possibilities for themselves, and make new connections with others.
I am passionate about coaching! I enjoy working both one-on-one with clients and facilitating group workshops that provide coaching skills training. Whether coaching or being coached, for me, a true coaching exchange generates a renewed commitment to building a healthy relationship with the 'self' and with others. My experience as a coach has helped me recognize that when we are given the opportunity to share our experience, we not only teach, but we also learn.
I possess more than 20 years of experience designing and facilitating learning programs that focus on creating self-awareness and building on interpersonal skills. My work and my perspective are informed by 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience in the retail, manufacturing and finance sectors. I bring front-line industry knowledge and experience, and easily relate to the everyday challenges facing my clients. My unique combination of education, business experience and people skills, have strengthened my passion for learning and for serving others.
I am a graduate of the Executive Coaching program from Royal Roads University, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. I am a licensed trainer with Coaching Out of the Box®, a trained facilitator and a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
